To maximize XP and get decent points it is better to do only
high-level moves at or above your level, without repeating them.
To maximize points only and get cool clothes faster the best way
is to repeat the same highest level move above your level.
Emotes should NEVER be repeated in a performance.
It looks like ringmaster's advice is wrong at least for mage and range.
Doing high-level moves appears to give most points, no matter what the
audience wants. At the same time the audience does not ask for the same move
twice, so you can follow it to get high XP as well.
